Hello, my name is Brian and I’m here to tell you about my experience with Pathfinder recovery. For five years now, I have been suffering from taking too many prescribed medications from my psychiatrist, and that not working, led me to drinking alcohol to knock myself out only to get a bad nights sleep. My situation got so bad I had given up hope. I was in a deep depression thinking I would never get off the medication’s that didn’t work and the alcohol that was making me so hung over every day that I just couldn’t function anymore. And then I found Pathfinder recovery and Eliza Folts. Eliza reached out to me and asked if I needed help. She had gotten my name from another recovery center, which wasn’t able to take me because of my insurance. I can honestly say that Eliza is the most professional, kind and caring person that I have ever met in the medical industry or any industry for that matter. I am self employed and have associated with thousands of people in my career and she truly is the best! She even checked in on me for weeks before I was even signed up. She really cares personally about what you’re going through and gives you the best advice on how they may help you at Pathfinder. It wasn’t long before I was signed up with their program and introduced to their team of professional’s which in include Eliza, Molly Dr Hendricks, a therapist and a phycologist plus a support team. Most importantly, Dr. Hendrix, who is also the most professional doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing in my entire lifetime. He is kind and considerate and caring and with me, he knew exactly what to do to wean me off of the unnecessary medications l was on and start me on new medication’s that were more conducive to the problems I was experiencing. In addition, he prescribed two new medication’s that have allowed me to sleep alcohol free again as I say for the first time in five years The first night after he put me on this new program of detox, I fell asleep right away slept through the night and did not have to use any alcohol whatsoever. The same thing happened on the second night now I’m going on my third night with their program and I’ve already noticed my mind is clearing up, my thoughts are less intrusive, and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel where before there was only darkness. I cannot recommend them highly enough and it was all done over zoom. I didn’t have to leave the comfort of my own home. I didn’t have to leave my family. I didn’t have to leave my job. I am still able to provide for my family. I don’t know where they came from, but I thank God they’re here.

Pathfinder recovery has been a joy to work with. Eliza made sure I got in almost immediately and answered any questions I had. As someone who suffers from dual diagnosed mental health and S.A. she assured me I was in the right place. Most rehab places told me they wouldn't even take me due to the mental health aspect. As someone who was struggling this was very disheartening. After my initial intake call with Eliza I knew I made the right choice. She told me how amazing the staff at pathfinder was and I can tell you she was right! Dr Hendricks is one of the kindest Drs I've ever had the pleasure of working with. His daily checkins got me through the first week of withdrawals and he perscribed me non addictive medication that has made it possible to get out of bed and not feel like I was dying. Molly my care coordinator has made sure any questions I have were answered, explained my treatment schedule and set me up with a therapist Dixie who I have no doubts will also be kind. Molly and Eliza also eased my worries about disability insurance assuring me that they would be happy to fill out any paperwork needed which was a huge burden lifted from my shoulders. Now I can focus on getting the help I need while not worrying about other things going on in my life. They set me up with a sobriety coach Ryan who reached out to me on the holiday which I have to say is refreshing, most places don't even work on holidays. If you are considering a treatment center that works day and night FOR YOU, I promise Pathfinder recovery center is the place for you. They are clients over profit, give you their personal numbers which you can text day and night and truly care about your recovery on a personal level. This is by far the best rehab facility I have ever been a part of and I am truly grateful to each and every one of them.
