The Rising Need for Local Support
Vermont has one of the highest rates of substance use disorder in the nation.
Recent data suggests that roughly 1 in 5 Vermonters aged 12 and older experienced a substance use disorder in the past year—well above both regional and national averages. And yet, approximately 3 in 4 Vermonters who need treatment still don't receive it.
Transportation, stigma, scheduling conflicts, and a shortage of in-person providers create real barriers, especially in the state's more rural communities.
That's exactly why Pathfinder exists. We remove those barriers entirely. No commute. No waiting room. No reason to put your life on hold.
